To
upgrade to the latest version of software:
Download
the trial (demo) version. There is no charge for the
upgrade.
If
you are upgrading from a version earlier than 3.40, send
an e-mail to support@audacityaudio.com
and request an upgrade registration code. You will be sent
a new registration code within 1 business day. If you own
more than one copy of Transcriber please specify the Install
ID from the registration screen for each installation you
are upgrading. If you are upgrading from a version earlier
than version 3.40, to prevent temporary loss of use of the
program, obtain the new registration code before installing
the upgrade.
Install
the latest Transcriber setup file you just downloaded. If
asked, answer Yes to remove the existing installation and
again if asked, answer No to 'Delete all Software settings'.
If
you have a problem after installing the new code, try uninstalling
the program and reinstalling before contacting support.
