To
upgrade to version 3.1x of the Personal DVR software:
Download
the latest version.
Version
3.10 and later require a new registration code. The cost
of the upgrade is $10.00 for those that have a registered
version less than 3.00. Those with 3.00 or later can upgrade
for free within their first year of registration ($10.00
after the first year with the purchase of a support agreement).
Click on the Download Software link on the Audacity Personal
product page to download the latest code. If you need to
purchase or extend your support agreement, please see our
webpage at http://www.audacityaudio.com/upgrades.htm.
Delete
the existing program from your PDA. Version 1.54 had a problem
with transfering the files during HotSync. If you had this
version installed and had files recorded to the SD card
that were not previously transfered, they will be transfered
with the new version (1.57 or later) after at least one
new recording has been made. Any files that you had recorded
to Internal memory will be lost when you remove the program
from the PDA.
Install
the latest file you just downloaded.
Enter
your registration code on the registration screen.
If
you have a problem after installing the new code, try uninstalling
the program, doing a soft reset of the PDA, and reinstalling
before contacting support.
