To
upgrade to the latest version of software:
Download
the trial (demo) version. There is no charge for the
upgrade.
Make
a note of your registration codes. Except as noted below
your existing registration code will be valid with the new
version.
Install
the latest LAM setup file you just downloaded. Answer Yes
to remove the existing installation and then later answer
No to 'Delete all Software settings'.
If
you are upgrading from a version earlier than 4.00, send
an e-mail to support@audacityaudio.com
and request an upgrade registration code. You will be sent
a new registration code within 1 business day. If you own
more than one copy of LAM please specify the Install ID
from the registration screen for each installation you are
upgrading. If you are upgrading a Single Author version
you will have a 30 day trial period to allow you to continue
to use the program while waiting for your new registration
code. If you are upgrading a Multi-Author version please
contact us first for the new registration code before upgrading
from a version earlier than version 4.00 to prevent temporary
loss of use of the program.
If
you have a problem after installing the new code, try uninstalling
the program and reinstalling before contacting support.
