Note for Mac Users

Audacity will work in conjunction with a MAC, but you must download a special version (see links below).

If you are unable to run your Mac in PC emulation mode, you will be somewhat limited in using certain Audacity features. You will not be able to use the Audacity Sync conduit which is PC based, but you will be able to record in any available format and transfer the files to the PC by using a card reader.

If you are using the Professional Edition, you will be able to make use of the AudioMail service to deliver files from a compatible Smartphone to an e-mail address or dedicated FTP site.

Additionally, Professional version users who can not run in PC emulation mode will not be able to run the companion LAM program.
