Note for Mac Users

Audacity will work in conjunction with a MAC, but you must download a special version (see link below).

If you are unable to run your Mac in PC emulation mode, you will be somewhat limited in using certain Audacity features. You will not be able to use the Audacity HotSync conduit which is PC based, but you will be able to record in any PCM format and transfer the files to the PC by using a card reader. You will be able to record in the compressed formats and play the files on the handheld, however there is no way to decompress the files outside of the Windows based HotSync conduit.

If you are using the Professional Edition, you will be able to make use of the AudioMail service to deliver files from a Treo 680, Treo 700P, Treo 650, or Treo 600 Smartphone to an e-mail address or dedicated FTP site.
