file transport / management software. LAM includes a variety

possible. It couples both voice and data from the handheld
through various transport options all the way to the transcriptionist.

Audacity Professional is a key component in our Audacity Communicator
product. Communicator is absolutely the easiest way to stay
connected with your office. While driving, walking, etc. you
can create a memo and within minutes the message will pop
up on your secretaries desk ready for her to listen to. It
doesn't get easier than this. It is made possible using the
"Audacity Intelligent Infrastructure" that runs
throughout the Audacity Professional products. It is easier
than email, voice mail and even a phone call.
The AUDACITY VOICE
RECORDER PROFESSIONAL VERSION includes many enhanced features
such as recording phone calls with a Treo or Centro Smartphone.
Caller ID information including telephone number, name and
company is captured and may be used during post processing.
From within Audacity, the author can link to the contact list
to pull in an email address or other information. The LAM
(desktop) will use this address to automatically email the
file.

on a regular basis? The Audacity Pro / LAM package handles
all the file transport automatically. You simply Sync to your
desktop. The files are automatically archived, sent, and deleted
from the handheld. It's a real timesaver.
Audacity Communicator takes file transport a step further.
No need to even sync to the desktop. Just record and you're
done. You can even do it from the golf course or your car.
The files are automatically sent in the background from your
handheld to your secretary or other designated party. A copy
is left on your PC. Your secretary is notified of your message
within minutes. Audacity Communicator uses Audacity Pro as
the originating component.

Version has you covered. It provides access control and on-the-fly
encryption. Our access control is very well designed and unobtrusive.
Don't worry if you misplace your PDA; All files are encrypted
and secure.
Our great file compression lets you store files as small as
6 kbps. This equates to an hour of recording using only 3MB
of file storage. We offer several audio-type settings all
the way up to 22 kHz. Our high quality settings work great
for speech recognition applications. We also provide ten different
microphone sensitivity settings to adapt the user to the hardware.
You can record directly to either internal or external memory.
SD cards will store many hours of recordings.

Software Demo / Purchase - The Audacity software
may be used as a fully functional 7 day demo. The demo becomes
a fully registered version by entering a purchased registration
code. The registration code is based on the Palm User ID (also
known as the HotSync ID). The Palm User ID is displayed on
the Audacity registration screen. It is case and space sensitive
so we need it exactly as it is displayed. The download is
a single zip file that contains a manual, a quick-start guide,
Audacity software, AudAlarm (a voice alarm handler), and CardSpeed
(a free utility helpful in evaluating the effectiveness of
your SD card), and the Audacity sync conduit.
